The Scent of Summer - Bronze Goddess!

Do you miss summer?  Do you want to smell like you just came back from frolicking in the beachy waves?  Well, I have a scent for you - Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder.

I think you can get this scent all year.  I just bought it again a few weeks ago, but once I was told that you could only get it in the summer.  I bought it at Macy's.  The reason I keep buying it is because it has that beachy smell: that cool, understated scent that smells like it could be you, but with a little bit of extra oomph!

It's that cool scent that is made with sand and salt water with vanilla and spice.  It's subtle, but extremely sexy.  I kept smelling myself because of the soothing aura it produced like if you drink a nice, warm cup of chai tea.

You need to try it for yourself!  It's special and natural with that something extra and welcoming.  It transported me back to July and the wave lullaby of the sea.

THE LEATHER BAG MAKER - JOSEPH HANNA!

I am a professional leather purse buyer.  I love leather because it can be fixed if it gets broken or scratched.  In the long run, it will usually be cheaper than buying a non-leather bag for me because I am very rough with my bags.

Although I buy my bags from many places, there is one place whose bags have always withstood the test of time - Joseph Hanna in the West Village of New York.

I have known Joseph for years as a customer and I have brought other people there who have become customers.  The one thing we can all say is that we are repeat customers and that his bags last for a very long time.  I have a bag of his that I have had for 14 years.  It's in great shape and everywhere I go, people want to know where I bought it.  They immediately write down the name and my directions to his shop.

I am not the first person to notice Joseph publicly.  Apparently, he has had other clients that bought his bags and put them in magazines.  His bags range from backpacks to briefcases, to small crossbody numbers.  He has a range for males and females.  He may even make you a little keychain with your initials.  He and his staff are knowledgeable and kind.  It's a small store filled to the brim with great stuff.

Go to his store, whether you are looking for a bag or not, and see what he has to offer.  You will probably walk out with something beautiful and longlasting!

Thank you, Danny Seo for Commenting!!!

It's always a thrill to have people tell you how much they like what you posted.  It's a big rush, especially when it's the person you wrote about! My previous post was about an exciting new scent called "Reserve Global" by Danny Seo.  Mr. Seo is so kind that he commented back on my post!  I was flattered and in awe!  This grand perfume designer took time out of his day to let me know that he appreciated my praise upon his wunderkind scent.  In fact, I was in the West Village in New York City and people kept stopping me because I smelled so good!

Thank you, again Mr. Seo for your kindness and for your perfume!

DANNY SEO FRAGRANCE - GLOBAL RESERVE - GLOBAL WINNER!

I love perfurme!  I am the Perfume Queen!  Everytime I take a new scent, people will come up to me and ask me what I am wearing.  Now, admittedly I am coy about my signature scent.   I will always keep that my secret.  It's the scent that is perfectly flawless for me,  no matter what my mood.

But even if you have a signature scent, you should branch out.  Maybe you'll find a new signature scent.  I may have found it in this new scent by Danny Seo, entitled, "Reserve Global".

When I first saw it advertised, I was a bit wary.  I am usually a fruity scent girl and Danny Seo's scent is decidedly floral.  The woman who was advertising it said that it smelled like a fresh flower.  I was skeptical, but when I got it home, it really did smell like a flower at its peak of freshness! But don't worry, it's not a flower attack on your nose, no it's more of a cozy, floral hug that would be perfect on a date night to tease your loved one's senses.

This scent is fantastic!  I use it alone or to mix as a layer with other scents.  Try it today!

GREAT NEWS!!! EXPANDING MY SITE TO INCLUDE FASHION/ACCESSORIES/FRAGRANCES, ETC.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!

I have decided to expand the content again on this site from gourmet and pop culture items, and I am adding fashion/accessory/fragrance favorites, too.  So, there are more ideas that will cover more places in your life.

Many people stop me on the street to ask me about my shoes, handbags, jewelry, fragrances, and more.  Therefore, I decided that there is a need to spread this information on this site.  I want to give my viewership options as to what they can see and use from this site.

So, stay tuned!

THE MINDY PROJECT - SEASON 2, EPISODE 3 - GOODBYE, LOVER!

Now, this episode is getting back to the flow that I am used to and welcome for the Mindy Project.

First of all, thank you for growing your character's hair to a more flattering length!

Alas, poor Mindy’s relationship, we knew it well.  And we knew it to be bad or at least “off”.  The duo finally said, “Adieu!” this episode because her boyfriend came back from Haiti and had a case of finding himself.  He came back to his church flock and said that because of Mindy he has decided to follow his inner desire to be a DJ.  Mindy was of course skeptical and unsupportive, until he rocked it at a big music event.

But obviously, things couldn’t be that simple.  As soon as Casey walked off from his triumph at the music festival and had Mindy feeling confident about his new career, he decided to “walk away”.  He said he didn’t connect and that he noticed that the venue could have been planned better.  So, he decided that he really wants to be an event planner.

Mindy could see the writing on the wall, especially when Casey was telling her one night that they could move to Texas. Now, Mindy had to say something at this point because in my mind, she is a successful and settled doctor.  She is not in any way suitable for a nomadic life.  Casey is obviously finding himself and he needs to commit to a career before he can commit to anyone.

So, Mindy basically explained how this wasn’t going to work and they broke up.

What’s strange about this turn-of-events is that Casey was always the seemingly more mature and together of the couple, so it was weird to see him being the one without direction and goofing off.

I thought that this episode was finally up-to-par with last season, in terms of Mindy’s character.  The Danny character is being written pretty well, but the other characters still need to get more love from the writers.  Ike Barinholtz needs more airtime and he is one of the writers.  Also, what are they going to do with that new nurse character?  She has some funny lines, but they could put her in more scenes to spice up the show.  As always, bring back the old Dr. Reed.  Where can this new storyline possibly go?

Well, thanks Mindy for getting back on the right track.  I am getting excited for the show again!
