WHAT'S A NICE LOOKING SWISS BOY DOING BEATING UP PEOPLE WITH HUGE MONSTRESS MUSCLES THAT YOU WOULD NEVER SUSPECT LURKED BEHIND HIS NICELY TAILORED SHIRTS, UNLESS YOU KNEW WHO HE WAS.......
I must admiit I was smitten with him in John Wick. I thought he was another actor and thought to myself, "Wow! They really fixed him up..his face...his body...HE"S HAD WORK DONE!"
Then I found it was Daniel and I read about him and his genius and ingenuity. He was an architect by trade and then a martial arts school owner. Then he became a world class model, traipsing from one country to another. Living the life. And then......
Fate wasn't through with him. He met Jean Claude Van Damme on a commerical and voila! He ended up replacing Van Damme in his movie franchise Bloodsport , which became Daniel's Franchise. And The Rest is History!!!!
He is a star!!!! I mean who could forget him as the henchman who almost took John Wick out 3 times! His kicks were enough to stun the erstwhile assassin. He was one of the "non-humans" in the second matrix who fought Laurence Fishburne on the truck and at one point Neo himself. Or you may have seen him in Hobbs and Shaw as an assassin of course. He had his own t.v. show -Mortal Combat. And my favorite, one of the lead roles, in the Emmy winning episode of Barry called Ronny /Lilly. He was the former martial arts star who gave Barry a run for his money. It was scary and darkly moving. Only a real seasoned actor could pull it off! (HE's friends with Keanu and the director of John Wick movies (all) Chad Stahelski.)
My favorite role of his is as a mentor to young people. My students gave him questions on flipgrid. When we couldn't get the flipgrid situation right, he filmed his answers on his own iphone. What a sweetie!
He's a good looking man that packs a punch. I want to see him in his own movie franchise again as a cyborg or genetically engineered or modified human. That would be so cool!
Luv ya , Dan. Call me!!!!!
If you're interested, try watching his movies!!!!
PS - Rumor has it he is in Matrix 4.
