Google's Iris de Valle - Thanks!

                         

Who's the stellar manager who has worked for two groundbreaking, mega-companies?  Why it's Iris de Valle, LCS Manager in Google's New York City office.  

Iris was our latest interviewee in my class' Hangouts/FaceTime/Skype Career and Tech talk.  Obviously with a Google person you could get both. She's worked for both Apple and Google. She was so kind to give us some of her very precious time. She taught herself how to program. She's a risk taker. She's  well-educated.  She's another great role model for my students.  

My students were interested in two things: Interland which teaches internet safety and of course- Why is her name Iris? This caused quite a scandal. Oh, well, all in a day's work for an intriguing personality.
